I've been keeping this Rahm Emanuel notebook on facebook to inform friends about Rahm Emanuel's various deeds. Some are worse than others. I'm keeping a few doozies in reserve. Here's the summary of the first week of postings.
Day 1. In 2005 Rahm Emanuel told Tim Russert that he would have voted for war in Iraq—even knowing there were no WMDs.

Day 2. In June 2008, while still in Congress, Rahm Emanuel joined with House Republicans to pass House bill H.R. 6304, approving then-President Bush's plan to allow warrantless wiretapping and electronic surveillance of U.S. citizens.
This bill allows the FBI to act on anonymous tips (which might come from someone who just doesn't like you, or someone who's mentally unbalanced), without a search warrant, to monitor your phone and internet use.
Day 3. Rahm Emanuel was first elected to Congress in 2002 to fill the seat that Rod Blagojevich had vacated to run for governor.
Emanuel achieved victory with the help of over 150 workers in the city water department who were illegally directed to campaign for him by former Assistant Deputy Water Department Commissioner Donald Tomczak, who later plead guilty to bribery.
Day 4. Days after the 2008 presidential election, Emanuel, on a recorded call, "asked then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich whether he would look into temporarily appointing someone to replace him to give that person a leg up in the special election." Emanuel told Blagojevich he would "appreciate it and not forget it." In response, "Blagojevich expressed concern that he could not legally appoint to a congressional post, even temporarily."
Emanuel remains under subpoena for the April 20 Blagojevich retrial.

Day 5. In 2008, 17 of Rahm's top 20 campaign committee contributors (ranked by aggregate per organization or business) were in the financial services industry: that is, banks, options traders, private equity management companies, hedge funds, etc.
(In case it seems like this is probably typical of politicians, just for comparison, of IL Rep. Jan Schakowsky's top 20 contributors, none were in the financial services industry.)

Open Secrets explains; "The organizations themselves did not donate, rather the money came from the organization's PAC, its individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families." This means that companies are ranked according to the totals of those individual donations.
Day 6. As a congressman, Rahm Emanuel received free rent for five years from pollster Stanley Greenberg, while Greenberg was consulting for BP. Other Greenberg clients include Monsanto and General Motors.
Day 7. Referring to the Obama family dog Bo, Rahm once said he'd "kill that fucking dog." In his White House office, his name plate listed his title as "Undersecretary of Go Fuck Yourself."
