Margo Crawford

Professor Margo Natalie Crawford studies the visual and written poetics of social movements. She is the co-editor, with Lisa Gail Collins, of New Thoughts on the Black Arts Movement (2006), which has been widely cited in the current explosion of Black Arts scholarship. She is the author of Dilution Anxiety and the Black Phallus (2008). Margo Crawford is Associate Professor in the Department of Afro-American Studies at University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
