Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson developed the beekeeping program at Garfield Park Conservatory in 2001 while employed as Horticulturist and Community Gardener. He created the Chicago Honey Cooperative in 2004 with two city beekeepers, with the shared goals of supporting a self-sufficient business, producing tasty healthy food and passing on the experience through neighborhood job-training.
