Mohamed Mehdi

Mohamed Mehdi has been teaching humanities and philosophy at Oakton Community College since 2008. He moved to Chicago from Montreal where he taught at John Abbott College and was a musician, writer and organizer working with the Kalmunity Vibe Collective, an independent group of musicians, writers and artists committed to the use of art for achieving social change. He has published articles and essays on subjects such as Gandhi’s political thought, teaching humanities, and Muslim identity.
