Wrapping commercial vehicles for local businesses

Wrapping commercial vehicles

If you run a local business and were offered cheap advertising guaranteed to reach thousands of potential customers on a daily basis, the chances are you would jump at the offer – yet many business owners are missing out.

If your vehicle doesn’t feature your company branding and information, then you are literally driving past thousands of potential customers daily, who can’t see you. By branding your commercial vehicle, you can promote your business to thousands of local people just by doing your daily commute and going about your business.

Make your vehicle stand out on the road with your company colors, logo and contact details, and you could attract new business just by driving past somebody who needs you or being parked in the right place at the right time.

Don’t be put off by thinking this sounds like an expensive and permanent paint job which could ruin your chances of selling your car in the future. It’s not. Vehicle wrapping is how most commercial vehicles are branded nowadays.

Vehicle wrapping is an increasingly popular form of advertising and with so many people spending hours on the road, shouldn’t they be staring at your company branding and name, instead of a plain van?

If you drive to and from work, or from client to client, there are literally thousands of potential customers on the road who could be viewing your company details, even if it’s just to raise awareness of your company name and logo.

As a local business, if you are driving around in the area where your customers live, work, pick up their children, etc. then wrapping your commercial vehicle is a great way to raise your business profile locally at a relatively low cost.

Regarding advertising costs, to reach the same potential number of customers by paying for print or radio advert, would be far more expensive than having your vehicle wrapped with your branding and company contact information, so it is a great marketing tool.

Wrapping a commercial vehicle is a relatively simple process nowadays using vinyl wraps, which can wrap the whole car or part of the car and it’s up to you what design and colors you choose, but contact details like your website, which are easy to remember, are a must.

The other benefit of vehicle wrapping is the vinyl wrap protects the paintwork from scratches and scuffs so the car paintwork will last longer and be better preserved if you do decide to sell the vehicle at a later date.

The vinyl wraps are also really easy to remove, just peeling off if you do come to sell the car or you move on from the business or have a rebrand, so it’s not a permanent commitment to car/van graphics and won’t require an expensive respray.

So if your business clientele comes from your local area, and you drive around regularly, having your commercial vehicle branded with your company information is a real no-brainer.

If you can pay out for a vinyl wrap to reach thousands of potential customers every single day, rather than pay thousands of pounds for the equivalent reach from conventional advertising, then there really is nothing to lose, and plenty of business potential to be gained.
